HOWARD TURNER aka "HOWIE"

Howard better know in the salsa world, as "Howie", is a self-taught dancer that believes the rhythm of the music is what inspires him to dance.  At the age of 16, Howie was introduced to salsa and was fascinated by the elegance of the dance. He became obsessed with the music and learned to dance salsa.  His obsession drew him closer to his destiny of dancing with a uniqueness and style all of his very own.  Howie achieved this unique style by becoming one with the music as he believes that music, when listened to properly, is very simple.  It becomes the foundation of what you're doing on the dance floor.  In favor of flexibility and uniqueness Howie stresses the necessity of feeling the music, therefore calling his style universal.
Howie believes that in order to be a successful instructor one must have patience and be a good motivator.  Teaching salsa is about learning the clave, emphasis on listening to the music and knowing timing.  This is what his teaching focuses on because it allows an individual to be creative and helps bring out his or her own individuality.

EVELYN MORO

Sensual, spontaneous, sexy and fun is what Salsa is to Evelyn.  When she hears Salsa she can't help the irresistible urge to dance.  Evelyn is passionate about dancing and teaching Salsa.  She grew up listening to mambo music and developed her own personal style just by being playful with the music.  She believes that the music is what motivates you and allows you to be creative, instead of concentrating on counting or memorizing a move.  That is why her classes focus on details such as balance, foot placement, body movement and posture.

With her assistance you will develop confidence and gracefulness on the dance floor and the ability to improvise and be unique.   Her focus is to create a fun and positive environment for all of her students.
